How GPU Data Hub collects, uses and protects personal data, including newsletter subscriptions, analytics and your GDPR rights.
What we collect
If you subscribe to GPU Data Hub Daily we store the first name and email address you provide, the date of signup, the page the signup came from and your consent record. We also record anonymous page-view events (page path, referring site, approximate country and a random visitor identifier) so we can see which coverage is being read.
Why we collect it
Email data is used only to send the newsletter you asked for. Analytics data is used to understand aggregate readership. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiles.
Consent and unsubscribing
Subscriptions require explicit consent at signup and are confirmed by email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time from our unsubscribe page. Unsubscribing stops all further mail immediately.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and comparable laws you can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, export it or delete it. Write to us through the contact page and select General, and we will respond within one month.
Retention
Subscriber records are kept while your subscription is active and for a short period afterwards to honour unsubscribe requests. Analytics events are retained in aggregate form.
Processors
We use a managed cloud platform for hosting and our database, and an email delivery provider for the newsletter. These providers process data only on our instructions.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will note it on this page. Questions can go to the desk through the contact page.
